Find lasting wellness by focusing on foundational health and bioindividual healing
“Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify.”
Henry David Thoreau

Why Simplifying Your Path To Healing Matters
In a world of information overload and endless treatment protocols, the journey to healing from chronic illness can feel overwhelming. But what if the real path forward isn’t in doing more — it’s in doing less, more consistently?
This post explores a foundational, simplified approach to healing rooted in bioindividuality, mineral replenishment, and nervous system support. If you’re feeling stuck or depleted on your wellness path, you’re not alone — and there is a better way.
When Overdoing Slows Down Healing
When the body and mind become overburdened during healing, the result is not an accelerated process; it’s:
Stagnation
Burnout
Frustration
An entire system that becomes taxed
One of the biggest mistakes people make during their healing journey is doing too much too soon, while taking on too much in general. They throw every supplement, protocol, and detox tool at their body without realizing that healing is a steady, step-by-step process. The reasoning behind why people want to go fast and try everything makes sense: they’ve been terribly sick and just want to feel better! Expectations should be set: it is a challenging process and one that requires commitment and consistency. Tailoring a plan based on your unique needs as a bio individual while establishing a reasonable pace can lead to the healing you desire as well as feelings of ease, clarity, and confidence.

K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple, Sister): Replenish & Restore the Body First
Your truest path to healing comes from simplifying while supporting foundational health and alignment your own body with what it truly needs.
First, get clear on this: what is the basis and focal point of your treatment plan? For most people, it’s about getting things out of the body. When you’re sick and have infections and toxins that need to be escorted out, this makes sense to do on multiple levels. Keep this in mind: you are bound to eventually crash if all you’re doing is forcing things out. This can manifest as a number of symptoms including fatigue, insomnia, and hormonal imbalances.
Most chronically ill individuals have synonymously experienced a body that has become run down and depleted. Rather than adding to this depletion, foundational treatment should focus on restoration first and foremost. Restoring minerals to the body is one of the key components to rebuilding healthy bodies at the cellular state.
Yet, I often see minerals and electrolytes utilized only in specific situations: when a new issue arises, during an intense killing protocol, or replenishing solely after something like a sauna session. What if replenishing became an everyday habit to restore a body that’s been running on fumes for years, instead of only sporadic nourishment? You can read more about how to nourish your body here.

Establishing Foundations For Long-Term Wellness
The term “foundations” gets thrown around often, and to different people it can mean anything from drinking a lot of water to sweating out a lot of water.
This can be both confusing and overwhelming. If your approach to foundations is solely to deplete and “push out,” perhaps this mentality is worth another look. Foundations should be a place from which the body is restored to health, not further run down in hopes the infections die off before you do.
Once the body feels safe and nourished, deeper treatments (like parasite cleansing, mold detox, or pathogen elimination) become more effective. These deeper treatments require resources from the body. When this isn’t done in right order, people can get much sicker and depleted, as many individuals do before they come to me.

Bio Individuality: You Are Not A Protocol
The extraordinary amount of information available about healing easily leads to overwhelm, generalization, and second guessing your decisions. I believe in bio individuality: each of us are unique, and as such we should be guided by the body’s needs at any given time. Someone else might look amazing as they cold plunge every morning, but if you’re experiencing challenges with your thyroid, cold plunging could really backfire for you.
How can you take out the guesswork? Consider utilizing high quality blood chemistry or bioenergetic testing through a trained professional to get an accurate picture of what’s going on in your body. While there can be upfront costs, it will save you substantial money by helping to align the specific actions, treatments, and supplements that your body needs right now. Most of us have spent thousands of dollars on supplements we either didn’t need or took at a time that was far from optimal. Proper testing can show not only the supplements we need most, but also elements like nutrition, detox, and exercise that we’re most in need of at this time.

Thinking Foundationally: 9 Ideas You Can Try Right Now
Here’s a short list of foundational areas that can make a massive difference in your healing. These practices support everything from blood sugar stability to detox fatigue prevention and immune system recovery:
Prioritize simple and nutrient dense meals. Cook in large batches to conserve energy, and freeze lots of meals! Cooking at home is bound to be better quality than what you’ll get via takeout, even if it’s remarkably simple.
Focus on blood sugar balance. We are susceptible to blood sugar issues especially when dealing with treatments and a multitude of invaders in our body. If ignored, this can lead to physical stress on the body, taxing our hormones and more.
Consider steps like juicing several times a week to deeply nourish the body, aid digestion, and lower inflammation.
Prioritize rest. Don’t rest once you’ve done everything else, try doing everything else after you’ve rested.
Regulate your nervous system and give your body safety. The body has a challenging time healing when it is in “fight or flight.” Breathwork, slow mornings, and brain retraining are just a few of the many tools out there.
Your body loves hydration, minerals, and electrolytes. Show it some love.
Consider your physical environment. Keep it clean, keep it simplified, and ensure it’s not compromised by things like mold. You can learn more about mold here.
Shorten your to-do lists. Seriously. I’m closing tabs on my computer as I write this.
Take a break from social media, and just see how it makes you feel.

Wrapping Up: Start Simple
Before we wrap up, I want to share a specific and simple thought. Start small: each month, look to identify one habit that is negatively impacting your health and well-being. You don’t need to constantly be making dozens of changes to heal. If you identify 1 habit at a time, and consciously change it, you are constantly moving forward. Ask: “how can I change just this 1 habit to something that supports my health and the life I most want to live?”
I believe in beginning with restoration to the body. Establish building blocks and foundations with which to build healing upon. Consider the way this shows love to yourself and your body, and invites it into a healing mindset. I became a bioenergetic practitioner because it takes out the guesswork through an easy way of assessing specifically what an individual needs at the various stages of their healing. I have tailored my work to guide those with chronic illness through these complex and often stressful steps. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and unsettled in your healing, I’d love to connect and see if I can support you at this time. Learn More
