     It's a little sweet yet a little salty and it's guaranteed to hit the spot when you have the munchies. This Apple Harvest Nacho dish combines all the tantalizing elements that so many of us love to incorporate into our diet this time of year. This recipe can easily be adjusted anytime of the year to include all the ingredients listed and even some that aren't...get creative and make your own unique combination!


     This is also a great dish to create alongside your kids if you're feeling brave! Call the kids to the kitchen and watch them tap into their creative side to assemble a healthy dish their proud of making (that will only make them appreciate it all the more!!). This dish is easy to put together with everyday ingredients that you usually have on hand and can be adjusted for ones you don't.


     When you see a big barrel of fresh Autumn apples or a sale at your local grocer think of these Apple Harvest Nachos! It's the perfect mid-morning or late-afternoon snack!


Ingredients

  • 2-3 Apples

  • Almond Butter

  • 1-2 tsp. cinnamon

  • Granola

  • Cranberries

  • Pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the apples

  2. Lay them out on a dish by slightly overlapping them as you go creating a circle within a circle.

  3. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon and drizzle warmed almond butter on top.

  4. Add granola, cranberries, and pumpkin seeds all over the top.

  5. Enjoy!
